The Graduate School of Letters of Osaka University features international students from diverse countries of different cultural backgrounds. Their study achievements are evaluated primarily on the basis of their theses; yet considerable numbers of students have never written graduate or any other theses. My task is to support those international students, helping them with their studies in Japan.
Specifically, I organize classes to teach [1] how to write theses and [2] how to write descriptive Japanese sentences. In addition, I offer [3] private consultation twice a week (this year, Thursday morning and Friday afternoon). You can consult with me on anything concerning your studies: for instance, study processes, how to identify problems and how to determine study themes. I am also eager to discuss your study ideas and research themes. Don’t hesitate to knock at the door of my lab.
