メッセージ
歴史を動かす国際的な環境問題、国境を越える移民移動や世界的流行病などは国民国家単位のアプローチでは十分に把握できない。その諸問題の系譜やそれに基づくメカニズムを理解するためのグローバル・ヒストリーを提供したいです。地球規模と市民の日常的生活の関連や非関連を議論し、グローバル・ヒストリーの学問を多元的に活かしたいと思っています。
Message
International environmental issues such as transnational migratory movements or global epidemics have a history while they are driving forces of history. I understand Global History as a tool to explain genealogies and mechanisms such problems are based on. A multidimensional understanding of Global History helps us to look into connections and non-connections oscillating between the scale of planetary or international histories, and the daily lives of various species in multiple localities.
